Another advantage of choosing An Affair to Remember is that we run off of a computer based system to bring you a vast quantity of songs and mix flexibility. Peter is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and has put together a truly redundant, rock solid platform to ensure that everything goes smoothly at your event.

 We utilize sound/computer equipment from EV, QSC, Dell, IBM, Shure, Denon, M-Audio, DBX, Sennheiser and other top name brands. We always pick “best of breed” equipment in order to ensure perfect, pristine sound. We regularly practice preventative maintenance and refresh of equipment to minimize the possibility of equipment failure. However, if a piece of equipment should fail, we always bring backup gear and have procedures in place for quick replacement.
We purchased brand new, state of the art equipment in 2007 and know how to tune it perfectly. We utilize EV main speakers and 2 EV subwoofers run through a digital DBX drive rack module powered by two QSC PLX2 professional amps from a Denon mixer. What does this mean? It means that the sound will be studio smooth with bass that's warm, low, and powerful. The highs will be crisp and bright, but not harsh. It will just sound pristine! The wireless mic's that we use are UHF Shure models. And we always calibrate them before a performance. This means that they are the most dropout free that money can buy to ensure your toasts are not interrupted. We take this detailed approach to every aspect of our equipment. We use the kind of quality equipment normally found in professional touring setups, far exceeding that of most mobile DJ's. Many DJ's feel that they can get away with cheap gear as long as it's loud, nobody will notice. When you choose AATR, you can be confident that the sound at your event will be excellent and reliable!
